Until recently, Green Building was a concept that had little impact on the design and construction marketplace. Several years ago, both Charlie Popeck and Mark Wilhelm individually recognized the importance of Sustainable Building and committed to transforming the conventional building industry. In their effort to promote and facilitate Sustainable Building Practices, Renewable Technology and Energy Efficiency in a Cost-Effective way they soon realized they could serve the Green Building Industry more effectively by combining their skills and experience. Green Ideas, Inc. as a corporate entity, was formed.
Charlie and Mark are dedicated leaders in the dynamic and fast-paced Green Building Industry. They have both served on the steering committee responsible for establishing the U.S. Green Building Council Chapter in Arizona, and both have served terms as Chairman of the Chapter’s Board of Directors. Mark and Charlie continue to be involved in the Green Building community and participate by regularly sharing their knowledge at public forums, private workshops and seminars.
